Thursday I had the opportunity to visit a preschool in Nevada, Iowa. The ninety, four and five year old kids were very excited to have a rodeo queen stop by! Last week was "W" week, and they needed a little western to spice things up. Boy, did I have some interesting questions. I guess I now know where the phrase, "kids say the darnedest things", comes from! I even braved school lunch for the first time in more than two years, and it was actually quite delicious. A huge thank you to Claire Hall, the teacher, for contacting me and setting this up for us.
